Search API workflowTrack organic positions, People Also Ask, ads, and SERP features across supported engines with consistent JSON.
Explore →One Deep Search call returns the whole Google page — People Also Ask, local pack, ads and up to 100 organic results, plus AI Overview with one flag — as clean JSON. From $0.03 per 1,000 Web units, with no subscription.
Hover anything on the left to find the field it lands in on the right. Google, three AI assistants, Google Maps and Instagram — the same JSON shape every time.

SERP data, AI mention tracking, and social media data APIs — all at the lowest price.
Web from $0.03/1K SERP API calls at the Scale tier. 1 search returns up to 10 pages. Growth pricing is locked in with a one-time $100 deposit; Scale with a one-time $500 deposit.
Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo & Brave. Choose your engine per request. Web, news, images & videos.
Track where ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini & Perplexity cite your brand. Visibility scoring across all 4 LLMs.
YouTube search and analytics, Instagram profile data, plus LinkedIn company, jobs & profile data. From $0.01/1K calls.
Organic results, AI Overviews, Featured Snippets, PAA, ads, related searches, shopping, videos — full JSON.
Requests we could not complete are refunded automatically; a 404 for a resource that does not exist is an answer and is charged.
Add pixel_position=true to any Google, Yahoo, Bing, or DuckDuckGo Deep Search and every item — organic, AI Overview, PAA, ads, featured snippet, knowledge panel — comes back with both an integer pixel_position and a full pixel_box (x, y, width, height). No price increase. The only API that ships full element geometry across all four engines.

Serper is the exception: its /pricing page returns 404 and serper.dev publishes only the free tier, so its pack ladder comes from ColdIQ's July 2026 analysis, as we also report in our Serper pricing breakdown.
Oxylabs prices its plan tiles in a rotating carousel, so a single page view shows only part of the ladder; the $0.50 above is the Google rate on its quote-only Custom+ tier, and the cheapest rate on a tier with a published monthly price is $0.60 on the $999 Business plan.
“Entry” is the lowest paid plan. “Cheapest published” is the best rate a vendor lists, whatever it costs to reach. “No published support” and “not stated” mean we found nothing about AI Overviews on that vendor's public pages on the date above — not that the feature is absent.
Two vendors can quote the same price for very different things. DataForSEO states that one SERP contains 10 search results, and their cost formula multiplies the price by depth / 10. So 100 Google results cost $0.006 on their $0.60 queue — and that queue is asynchronous, typically about five minutes. One synchronous Serpent Deep Search call returns up to 100 organic results across 10 pages for $0.0003 at the Scale rate, because Deep Search bills one unit per page. Entry tier against entry tier we are level with them at $0.60; it is the discount ladder that opens the gap.
Serper is the closest published rate above ours. It brands itself the cheapest Google Search API, and its pack ladder runs from $1.00 per 1,000 down to $0.30 per 1,000 once you buy 12.5 million credits — $3,750 up front, expiring after six months. Our Scale rate is $0.03, it never expires, and a one-time $500 deposit reaches it.
Most teams never reach the volume that unlocks a vendor's best rate, which makes the entry price the number you actually pay. Ours is $0.60 per 1,000 calls, and it drops to $0.06 after a one-time $100 deposit. SerpApi's entry plan is $25 per month for 1,000 searches. That is 42× our entry rate comparing like with like, and 833× once our Scale discount is in.
You are not buying a seat or a monthly plan. There is no minimum spend, the discount tier is locked by your largest single deposit and never downgrades, and your balance never expires. Requests we could not complete are refunded automatically; a 404 for a resource that does not exist is an answer and is charged. If you stop calling the API for three months, nothing is lost. Promotional credits are the one exception — those lapse 30 days after they are granted.
Most cheap APIs return ten blue links. One Deep Search call on engine=google parses every block below, with these field names.

DataForSEO doubles the task price for calculate_rectangles. Oxylabs publishes ordinal positions, not coordinates. |
Coverage varies by endpoint and engine — the table above describes Deep Search on engine=google. Quick Search on engine=google is organic-only and speed-optimized; Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo and Brave each return their own subset on Quick and Deep alike. The API reference lists which block each engine supports. Competitor behaviour read from published documentation on 20 August 2026.
Rank one is not the top of the page any more. An AI Overview, a local pack and four ads can push the first organic result below the fold. If your API only returns organic links, your rank report is describing a page your customer never saw.
That is what pixel_position is for. Every item gets a y-coordinate measured from the top of a rendered 1366×768 desktop page, plus a pixel_box with the full bounding rectangle. You can tell a client that they rank third and sit 1,400 pixels down, which is a different conversation from “you rank third.”
Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo and Brave all return the same JSON shape. Switch with one engine parameter, and fields a given engine does not carry come back null or empty rather than changing structure. You write the parser once, so adding a second engine costs no extra engineering.
Three simple tiers. 1 search returns up to 10 pages — $0.03 buys 10K pages at Scale. See full pricing →
Move the slider. Rivals are priced on the plan or pack you would actually be on at that volume, not on a floor rate you cannot reach.
You keep $722.00 a month versus SerpApi.
Serpent web rates: $0.60 per 1,000 units on Default, $0.06 on Growth, $0.03 on Scale. Quick Search is one unit per call however deep the call, up to 100 organic results in a single charge; Deep Search bills one unit per page requested, up to 10 pages, at every tier and every balance. SerpApi is a subscription, so the figure is the price of the smallest plan that covers your volume. Serper sells prepaid credit packs, so the figure is your volume at the rate of the smallest pack that covers six months of it. Rival pricing read 10 September 2026 — SerpApi from their pricing page, Serper from ColdIQ's July 2026 analysis, because Serper does not publish a pack ladder.
Yes, up to a point. Serpent API gives every new account free calls shared across every endpoint, with no credit card. Serper gives 2,500 free queries, Bright Data 5,000 a month, Oxylabs 2,000 results, SerpApi 250 searches a month and Scrapingdog 200 credits, which is about 40 Google searches. No SERP API is free forever at production volume, because every provider pays real infrastructure cost on each request. Free tiers are for evaluation, so the question that matters is what the first paid call costs.
For context on the paid side: at our Scale rate, Bright Data's entire 5,000-search monthly free tier would cost you 15 cents.
By published rates read on 10 September 2026, Serpent API is the cheapest SERP API at $0.03 per 1,000 calls on the Scale tier, reached with a one-time $500 deposit. Ranked by the best rate each vendor publishes, the rest run Scrapingdog $0.14, Serper $0.30, Oxylabs $0.50, DataForSEO $0.60, Bright Data $1.30 and SerpApi $1.96. Those floors are not equally reachable, though. Oxylabs' $0.50 sits on a quote-only Custom+ tier, Serper's $0.30 needs a $3,750 credit purchase and SerpApi's $1.96 a $106,050 plan, so compare entry prices too if you are not yet at that volume.
It depends on the vendor and the unit. Entry prices across the six providers we track run from $0.60 to $25.00 per 1,000 searches. Serpent API starts at $0.60 per 1,000 Web units with no minimum spend, drops to $0.06 after a one-time $100 deposit and to $0.03 after a one-time $500 deposit. Those discounts are permanent and your balance never expires. Watch the unit as well as the price: on Deep Search a page of 10 results is the unit, so 100 results costs ten times a single-page call.
A worked example at one million single-page searches a month. That is $30 on our Scale tier; at 100 results each it is $300. Serper's largest pack rate puts it at $300. SerpApi's Cloud 1M plan is $3,750.
Serper offers 2,500 free queries with no credit card required, which is one of the larger free tiers in this category. After that it sells prepaid credit packs running from about $1.00 per 1,000 queries down to $0.30 per 1,000 on the 12.5 million credit pack, and credits expire six months after purchase. Serper publishes no AI Overview endpoint. If you need AI Overview data or a rate below $0.30, free tier size is not the number to compare on.
